We’ve combined this software knowledge with our years of experience within the Control4 system, to offer driver development services for manufacturers interested in two-way communication drivers. We have the capability to integrate any RS232- and IP-based control device into the Control4 system. As part of our driver development services, we document the full range of supported functionality between the Control4 platform and the hardware vendor's supported devices, allowing you to explore and market the full capabilities and features of your product. Our primary focus is writing software for third-party manufacturers looking to integrate with and leverage the Control4 home automation system. Case Study:
Lutron RadioRA 2
The purpose of this project was to integrate the new Lutron RadioRA 2 wireless lighting control system with Control4. Our experts created a driver to link RadioRA 2 and Control4 through an RS232 or IP network, allowing users of the Lutron RadioRA 2 system to seamlessly operate these devices within the Control4 home automation environment. Lutron switches, dimmers, and keypads can now also trigger Control4 events such as turning on a TV, increasing volume, or starting multi-room music. Lutron demonstrated its compatibility with the Control4 system at the Consumer Electronics Show in January of 2010.
