This year HouseLogix has partnered with the Allentown Art Museum on the Society of the Arts (SOTA) Designer Show house.

Like many of the area’s classic homes, it lacked many of the security, entertainment and convenience features that modern families want. Thanks to new wireless home automation technology, the HouseLogix team was able to integrate the latest lifestyle-enhancing features into this historic home without disturbing its delicate plaster walls or hand-crafted woodwork.

One of the unique advantages of the HouseLogix solution is what we call “One Touch Living”. With every major system in the home tied together, many useful conveniences emerge. For example, when the homeowner pushes the “Good Night” button from bed, all lights turn off, the security system arms, the doors lock, the garage doors close, music and TVs are turned off and the thermostats turn down automatically. When the family arrives home, one button on the car visor disarms the security system, opens the garage, turns on lights, and starts welcoming music. This is the vision of the intelligent home and HouseLogix can provide this thoroughly modern living experience in any home, new or old.
