The HouseLogix 8 Channel RCM is the perfect solution when you need to add support for up to 4 inputs and 4 output relays. The unit easily connects via RS232 to your control system using one of our free drivers/modules giving you easy access to sense when the contacts are tripped and control the relays when needed.

The free Control4 driver integrates the HouseLogix RCM into your system. Add the driver to your project, and add a contact sensor or relay driver for each channel used on the RCM. Then bind these contact sensors to INPUTS 1-4 and relays to RELAYS 1-4 on the Connections tab. These will be visible on the touch screen. These relays and contacts will reflect the state of the RCM. Touching a relay on the touchscreen will TOGGLE the relay on/off.

Features

  • Control almost any type of load such as gates, motorized screens, blinds, door locks, drapes, fans, fountains, fireplaces, TV lifts, pumps, or even sprinkler systems.
  • Sense when equipment that outputs between 5 and 24 VDC is applied such as carbon monoxide detectors, doors, doorbells, gate sensors, glass break detectors, humidity sensor, heat sensor, IR beams, motion sensors, pressure sensors, or water sensors are tripped.
  • Relays have Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) positions
  • Relays remember the last state in case of a power failure.
  • Two way feedback between the control system (such as Control4, Crestron, URC or RTI) and the 8 Channel RCM

OVERVIEW

This driver integrates the HouseLogix Relay and Contact Module into your Control4 system. Add this
driver to your project, and add a contact sensor or relay driver for each channel used on the RCM.
Then bind these contact sensors to INPUTS 1-4 and relays to RELAYS 1-4 on the Connections tab. These
will be visible on the touch screen. These relays and contacts will reflect the state of the RCM.
Touching a relay on the touchscreen will TOGGLE the relay on/off.

DEVICE SPECIFIC COMMANDS

RELAY_PULSE - Generates a relay pulse to one of the four relays. The command has three paramaters
that need to be set before the command can be dragged and dropped into the programming script.

PARAMATERS
Relay Number - Specifies which relay will generate the pulse (Range 1-4)
Relay Pulse Width - Range of wave for each pulse (Range 100-999)
Count - Number of times the pulse will be sent (Range 1-9)

i.e. Setting the parameters to (1,400,4) will toggle relay number 1 four times at 400ms
