The ne24.24M uses modular expansion cards to provide up to 24-channels of audio matrixing and processing. The base unit offers a 4-input/4-output configuration. Each input and output expansion card has an individual DSP processor allowing you to expand the total input or output 4 channels of DSP processing at a time.

Using our Ashly NE 24.24m Media Amplifier Control4 Driver you can now fully integrate this DSP into your Control4 project with the following features:

  • Full IP control over the network for 20x20 zones
  • 2 way support - eg: get feedback if volume is manually changed on the device
  • Set the default volume given to each input
  • Input and Output switching
  • Discrete muting and volume control
  • Configurable gain volume increments
  • FREE 48 hour trial - simply add the driver with no license key

OVERVIEW

This driver integrates a Ashly Audio Media Amplifier ne24.24m into your Control4 project. To use this
driver drag ashly_mediaamp_ne24.24m.c4i into the project and follow ALL of the setup instructions. The features
of this driver include input/output switching, mute, and volume control.Currently the driver supports an
8x8 configuration. That is, 8 inputs (1 expandable input extender) and 8 outputs ( 1 expandable output extender).

HARDWARE SETUP

1. Connect preamp outputs and inputs to device

1. Scan for devices or manually add device by model.

2. You should see the ne24.24m model appear. Currently the driver
supports an 8x8 configuration. That is, 8 inputs (1 expandable input extender) and
8 outputs ( 1 expandable output extender).

6. Software setup complete, move to composer setup.

COMPOSER SETUP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Drag driver into project and enter the IP Address of the device in the networking tab

2. Driver will come online. Before the driver can function, the MAC Address must be entered
and the default percentages must be set for line level and gain volume increment. See
properties for format of MAC Address.

3. In connections tab, connect inputs, outputs, and room selection.
 i.e. Phone -> input 1
   Speakers -> output 1
   Room Selection Channel 1 SELECTION -> Bedroom
   Room Selection Channel 1 VOLUME -> Bedroom
  
4. Refresh navigators and follow software setup.

PROPERTIES

Status: Indicates the network status of the device

License Key: Used for licensing the driver

License Status: Current status of the license

Mac Address: Unique address given to every device, must be entered
  Required format: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx (i.e. 11-22-33-AA-BB-CC)

Line Level Input 1-8: Default volume given to each inputs within a certain channel
  Range: 0-100% = -50dB-+12dB Default: 50% Recommended: 60-80%

Gain Volume Increment percent: Master volume control per channel
  Range: 1-15% Default: 1% Recommended: 3-5%

Debug Mode: Toggle mode for debugging
