OVERVIEW
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This driver integrates a dbx Zone Pro audio switch into your Control4 project. To use this driver drag dbx_zonepro_universal into the project and follow the setup instructions below. This driver supports either network and serial data communication. Feedback support is only on the network side, so if using serial, Control4 will become out of sync if volume, mute, and other adjustments are made on the ZonePro device.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
HARDWARE SETUP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Connect outputs and inputs to device.

2. Connect serial cable if using serial communication or ethernet cable if using network communication.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
SOFTWARE SETUP - ZonePro GUI Designer

1. Scan for devices by using Address Tool or manually add device by model.

2. If the device already contains the project, request the configuration when the device goes online, otherwise follow the configuration using Configuration Wizard and then send to the device your created configuration. The device can be in any configuration mode as this driver allows for custom inputs and outputs to be defined.

3. Ensure that the device is in router mode by verifying that there is an RTE block for each output channel.

4. Check which node address has been assigned to the device by looking in the header bar of the window for (Node xx). Default node address is 32. This will need to be entered as a property in the Composer Setup

5. Software setup complete, move to composer setup.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
COMPOSER SETUP
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. Drag driver into project and enter the IP Address of the device in the networking tab if using the network side of the driver or bind up the serial connection if using the serial side.

2. Driver will come online. Enter the node address, adjust the volume increment if desired, and enter a license key.

3. Now enter the addresses for outputs and select the number of inputs. In the ZonePro Designer Software, use keyboard shortcut ctrl + shift + o on the RTE block off the outputs. This will cause a pop up to appear with information about that block. The information under b0,b1,b2,b4 is required to be entered in the properties tab under the desired output.

For example, if CH 1 has an object id of
  b0 - 20
  b1 - 0
  b2 - 5
  b3 - 1
you would enter 20,0,5,1 in the properties tab for output 1.

If a stereo channel is being used, such as combining channel 1 and 2, you can either put channel 1's address in both output 1 and 2 or you can just use channel 1. Either is acceptable and will work.

4. In connections tab, connect inputs, outputs, and room selection.
 i.e. Phone  - input 1
   Speakers - output 1
Room Selection Channel 1 SELECTION - Bedroom
Room Selection Channel 1 VOLUME - Bedroom

5. Refresh navigators and device is ready to be used.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DRIVER FEATURES
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1. The driver will mute/unmute the channel automatically when a room is turned off/on.

2. Network mode only - Driver subscribes to the ZonePro to receive feedback if changes are made on the actual device or optional volume control add on.

3. Volume increment variable allows for a quicker ramp when adjusting volume. Recommended to use 3-5 percent.
