The HouseLogix PC and NVR Windows application allows seamless integration between your Windows PC and home automation system. Specifically designed to work with automation control systems, we are including a Control4 driver for free. URC, Crestron and RTI will be available soon. Send commands, launch programs and trigger events on your computer all over IP.

The HouseLogix PC and NVR Control software is pre-loaded and included for FREE with your purchase of the HouseLogix NVR. Control the on-screen GUI from Control4 remotes, Apps, or touch screens, including the ability to view past recordings.

OVERVIEW
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This driver integrates the HouseLogix PC and NVR Control Windows application into Control4
systems, allowing basic keyboard driven control from Control4.

Quickstart:

[1] Install the HouseLogix PC and NVR Control desktop application on the PC you wish to control.
[2] Run the application, the PC should identify itself in Composer's Discovered tab (SDDP).
[3] Double-click to add it to your project.
[4] Select a Keymap Preset for your desired application, or configure custom keys.

Custom Key Instructions:

[1] Select a key from the Key property dropdown. Press the Set button. The action and value
properties should automatically update to their present values for the selected key.
[2] Select an action from the Action property dropdown. Press the Set button.
[3] Enter a value in the value property text box. Press the Set button. See below for details.

PROPERTIES

IP Address:
IP of the server running HouseLogix PC and NVR Control software.

Network Port:
Default is 8070.

Key:
Corresponds to the buttons in the Control4 proxy.

Action:
[Keypress] Send a keypress to the active program.
[Select Window] Bring a window to the foreground.
[Launch] Launch a program
[Restart] Restarts the host computer immediately and without prompting.

Value:
The key to send, or the process to select/launch.

For keystrokes, simply enter the keys to send separated by commas.
Example: To send "Hello", enter H,e,l,l,o into the value box and press Set.
Special Keys Example: To send Windows Key + D, enter {WINDOWS},d into the value box and press Set.

For launching programs, enter the complete path to the location of the executable you wish
to launch here, along with any launch argument flags.
Example: To launch Notepad, enter C:\Windows\notepad.exe into the value box and press Set.

System information is available both as Properties as well as C4 variables which allows for
events to be programmed based on the status of the system.

Last Updated:
Displays time of last update.

Available Space (GB):
Detected amount of space available on the hard disk.

Total Space (GB):
Detected amount of total space on the hard disk.

Note: The available/total space properties show the total space available on the drive.
Not the total space available to the user. User will likely see underreported values
in places such as My Computer, where only the amount of partitioned space is shown.

Available RAM (MB):
Detected amount of RAM currently in use.

Total RAM (MB):
Detected amount of RAM available to the system.

CPU Usage:
Detected percent CPU activity.
